New Build Wiring: From Slab to Final Fit

For new residential properties, we manage every stage of the electrical installation process. During the early construction phase (first fix), we work within the structure — installing all conduit piping, back boxes, and underground ducting before the walls are plastered. This is a critical stage because all the invisible infrastructure that your home will depend on for life is put in place here. After plastering, we return to pull all cables through the installed conduits and route them back to the distribution board. In the final stage (second fix), we fit all sockets, switches, light fittings, and connect and label the distribution board. The entire system is then tested and certified before handover.

Rewiring Old or Damaged Homes

Older homes frequently have electrical wiring that has reached the end of its safe service life. Outdated rubber-insulated cables, deteriorated insulation, undersized conductors, and obsolete fuse boards are serious safety risks. We carry out complete rewires of residential properties, replacing all wiring from the incoming supply through to every socket, switch, and light fitting. We work as efficiently as possible to minimise the disruption to your household, and where possible we plan the work in sections so that you always have power to part of the home during the rewire. On completion, the entire system is tested and a new certificate is issued.

Cable Management & Trunking

We take pride in the quality of our workmanship — not just in how it works, but in how it looks. All cabling is routed as neatly and discreetly as possible. Where concealed wiring in walls or ceilings is not practical, we use neat surface trunking in matching colours to keep the installation clean and professional. Distribution boards are installed in appropriate locations, clearly labelled for every circuit, and protected with the correct MCB and RCD ratings for the loads they serve.
